Best (and Easiest) Meatloaf

Ingredients:

1 ½ lb. ground beef

1 cup bread crumbs

¼ cup chopped onions or 1 tsp onion powder

1 ½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

1 cup tomato sauce (I tend to use 1 ½ cups, to keep it moist)

1 egg

 

Directions:

Mix all ingredients

Pour into greased or sprayed loaf pan.  Squeeze or spread a layer of Ketchup on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Take out of the oven and slice into portions.

 

Homemade Macaroni & Cheese (our court reporters call this “Crack & Cheese”)

Ingredients:

1 pound medium to large macaroni noodles

1 stick butter (add additional half stick to make richer)

1 pound Velveeta Cheese – cut into cubes

8 houses shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 egg

Salt and Pepper, to taste

Milk

 

Directions:

Cook noodles according to package directions for al dente

Drain noodles and put back in pot

Add butter and cheese to the pot, stir to begin to melt

Beat egg in separate cup, add a little milk to cup, and then add milk and egg to pot

Pour a cup or two of milk in pot, to help melt and stir cheese

Add more milk to the consistency you desire

Once the cheese is melted, it is done.  Add salt and pepper, to taste.

 

 

Hershey Bar Pie

Ingredients:

8 ounces cool whip

Regular bag Hershey nuggets

1 graham cracker pie crust

 

Directions:

Melt Hershey nuggets

Stir into cool whip

Pour mixture into graham cracker pie crust

Refrigerate to cool, before serving

 

Blackberry Sangria

Ingredients:

1 ½ liters sweet red Italian wine

14 ounces cranberry juice

14 ounces Monin blackberry Syrup

6 ounces Tuaca Italian liqueur

Blackberries

Lemon Slices for garnish

Orange Slices for garnish

 

Directions:

Mix all liquid ingredients together, along with blackberries. 

Refrigerate and let sit for a few hours. 

Serve over ice.

When ready to serve, add a slice of lemon and orange to glass
